Car wash / drug dealing fronts in Ipswich 10:12 - Mar 29 with 3523 viewsLord_Lucan

Are they closed due to Covid?

Tried to get my car cleaned yesterday but they were all shut - most unusual?

Re the car washing bit.

Thinking about it I suppose they are non essential - I just assumed they would either be ok because they are outside or simply refuse to comply. Quite annoying actually as my car is filthy.

By the way, after you invited me for a ploughmans last week I was racking my brains as to where you are located and I'm thinking Arundel?

Which in turn got me thinking - was it you who knew one of my customers down that way - Sparks Yard? Wonderful looking store but they went bust owing me a grand.

They should be closed, only automatic car washes can remain open

I went through a car wash machine thing the other day cos my car was in a state.

Yes I am down that way, I now live on the coast a few miles away.

That was all very strange and very sudden about Sparks. A lot of people werent happy and have been left owned money with various conspiracy theories abounding as to what happened.

I believe the site has had planning permission to be converted into apartments so who ever owns it will do very nicely out of it. ('**scratches nose knowingly**)

I will give the vaccines a bit of credit for the current strain. But what about when these new strains reveal themselves? Will we go into another lockdown for a year or two?

The lockdowns have made no difference other than ruin a lot of peoples lives.

I'd imagine that we'll be working on vaccines for those as well.

Like we do with flu, annually.

....is it the vaccine that doesn't/won't work or is it lockdown?

I assume you realise that viruses mutate, that's what they do. The flu jab changes each year to cope with the mutations, the same will happen with the covid vaccine.

I hope you are being purposely obtuse and you aren't really this silly.

I go to Blandford Forum now and again, I was down there for a few days last week and rather than go through Salisbury I got diverted further down the M3 towards Southampton but that's still a way from you isn't it?

Must admit I preferred that route as Salisbury is a pain.

Sparks Yard were constantly late paying their bills. The pictures of the premises looked amazing but I just guess it was too big a building for the business. I had another company down your way knock me for £25k the same month.

What is it with you people down there?

This absurd nonsense comes from the same people every time.

And the one thing they seem to have in common is they haven't bothered to follow a thing.

All of this has been covered so many times it's monotonous even hearing it repeated.

They start from a point of ignorance, stick to that spot with determination and anything laid out to them is just jumbled noise. You won't get through to them.
