I’d say the blame is on the players

I’ve never seen so many losers represent Ipswich town football club

They are a disgrace

Poor timing, in my opinion. Now about to play in a must-win game, don’t think it’s something the players needed to see before the game.

For the record, I think it’s nicely put and I’m fully behind Evans selling up to the right person, but this should have been after the game.

My make who is ITK told me ITFC are about to release a statement.

"Blue action just planet a nuclear warhead under Portman road and is insisting we make Evans walk the plank. To be clear, the Orwell Docks are disgusting and filthy - and we will not be yielding to their demands.

This is not the action of fans, as fans should do nothing but agree with us no matter what. Please call the police, as we wont - but will claim we did to the national press."

Can you provide a little more context to your statement. By all means join the debate - but give us something to analyse along side your point of view.

Failure runs right through the club; it starts at the top with Evans. The players are failing too but the whole culture of the club these days is to accept mediocrity.

We’re midtable in Division 3. There is no bad time to make a stand.

The fact we’re playing in a must win game to have an outside chance of sneaking into the play offs in the third division says it all.

14 years of failure.

I don’t think a few hours is going to hurt anybody.

What difference to the point would waiting until after the game?

Have you ever seen any protest take place 2 hours before kickoff in what is quite frankly a really key game to this season.

Shambolic timing

Evans isn't their cult leader. I'm sure they couldn't give two sh1ts innit :)

As Illers implies, at any other club fans would be protesting 24/7.

There is no actual protest though, is there? They’ve put up a banner and tweeted it. There is no angry mob baying for blood. If the players are upset or put off by Blue Action they’re even more gutless than we thought.

Blackpool throughout the entire season when they got promoted from league 2, 16/17 I think?

Whilst I agree that i'd have waited until after the game, there is no way this could be used as an excuse if we don't win.

You are overthinking it, and extrapolating a hell of a lot about how much the players care about who owns the club. As if the players will give two fooks about fans protesting at Evans' ownership and the takeover. And if this kind of thing DOES put them off their game... well, fook me ragged...

A banner is a protest regardless of people In the area.

Each to their own. You think it's ok. I dont .. time wise not the action of it.

What's also funny reform or sell

Only yesturday were they announcing a change in recrjitment. Something positive and a forward change... yet it was moaned about. So really there is no interest in reform

If we win later and they’d put this up afterwards you’d be the first one to start crying about how it’s poor timing because they should just enjoy the victory.

Yesterday was the usual well timed propaganda that comes around the time we set season ticket renewals - we'd be unwise to see it as anything but.

How dare I have an opinion.

But no. Protests would make sense following a fixture. Most are.

Why is it a key game?

You have already announced that this season is written off.

Paul Cook does not seem to agree with you but I suppose he has not read your official ruling.

I think we have to salute Blue Action for their persistency and clarity over their protests. This is exactly what an ultras/supporters group is there for. It's not about blind loyalty to the club. It's about having the best interests of the club at heart, representing the majority of fans and challenging the club to do better when we've been failing on multiple fronts.

The training ground protest aside, they have been tasteful and measured with their protests and banners. Especially, in comparison, to ultras/supporters groups on the continent.

Keep up the good work chaps, even if nothing immediately changes, this regime needs to be challenged.

I really don’t think they would. I acknowledge and agree Evans has been at the forefront of our decline and has made some utterly stupid decisions over the years, but let’s not disregard the fact that he’s funded the biggest, most expensive squad in the division whilst also paying our manager(s) a hefty wage for this division.

The last few seasons have been utter garbage, I agree, but we’re 3 points off the play-off’s with 10 games to go, we’ve got rid of the manager we all wanted to leave, I just think now isn’t the time.

Just my opinion, of course.

However I respect those that dont and who are hoping we can finish in the playoffs. Today's game is part of that run in.
