Anyone else trying to book a jab at the moment?
I've tried a couple of times this week, and the system tells me that the nearest centre is 50 miles away, even though there are evidently centres in Ipswich.
Anyone else having this problem, or have I just been singled out for special treatment? |  |

My spies tell me that behind the scenes the Government are panicking about the lack of intake in the under-50s. Less than half apparently are taking up the offer when they receive the invite.
I'd say 75% of people I know under 50 have no intention of taking it. |

Same here. I can't drive and it's 3 hours via Liverpool St to Harlow, or a 3 hours to Basildon via Romford. I'm not going for a 6 hour round trip. I'll wait until something comes up closer. |  |

So evidently try booking late at night it’s worked for a number of my friends (all of mine are also taking up the option to have vaccine and are u50).... you need be persistent and keep pressing refresh but works eventually! Good luck | | | |

That’s strange as the 44-49’s crashed the system when they were allowed to book. I don’t know anyone under 50 who has said they won’t be getting it. | | | |

Can also confirm that thanks to insomnia I was able to book one in Ipswich when I tried at 4.30 am
