Tom Pearce has played 26 games in the past 2 seasons which isnt great. Only 10 more than KVY. |
Kvy kept having leg issues when he kept trying to return ( before his shoulder injury)
Pearce fractured his back first and then the latest one at Wigan was his Ankle.
If it were a regular knee or ankle issue I'd be more inclined to be worried personally. [Post edited 5 Jun 2021 14:59]

That's two serious injuries for Pearce. We saw what a fractured back did to Lankester. Fingers crossed these players are over any issues but so many of them having missed basically half of last season through injury does ring a few alarm bells. |  |

Looking over some forum thoughts of him.. when he did return to action prior to ankle injury he did look solid and didnt look like it had a massive negative effect. I guess we will see. But appreciate your concerns.

In a first half where his team were poor defensively on the other side of the field, he did well to get into decent covering positions to cope with unopposed crosses.
Pearce passes it simply. He has a strong left foot and a nice build for a full back – not too tall or sluggish on the turn and not too small to cope with aerial threats. | |

Smallwood played 27 times before a knee injury which kept him out for the rest of the season, so fits the bill well it would have last year. |  | | |
