Team for the Czech Republic? 00:59 - Jun 19 with 1387 views | pointofblue | I'd be tempted to do a rejig. Pickford Trippier - Stones - Mings - Shaw Henderson - Bellingham Sancho - Grealish - Foden Calvert-Lewin I think Pickford, Stones, Mings and Shaw are the only four that really deserve to keep their place after tonight's display - maybe Foden too plus we have few options there. With Kane completely off the pace, we wouldn't miss him if he was benched. Bellingham gives us more creativity from deep with Henderson alongside for experience.

Team for the Czech Republic? on 09:17 - Jun 19 with 1155 views | mikeybloo88 | The question now is whether Southgate is definitely committed to Kane being his main man for the knockout stages. If he is, then is it best to rest him and hope he finds his legs come the next round, or is it better to get a more effective unit around him to spark him into form? If the latter, then your team with Kane instead do DCL looks promising, although I very much doubt Southgate drops Rice. I didn't think James was too bad but he seemed constrained and not overlapping as he normally does. I'd keep him and add Chilwell at left back, I'm not a Shaw fan.

Think Shaw is getting surprising criticism from yesterday considering he was practically the only player looking to get the ball forward. Saying that, I think I would play Chilwell ahead of him against the bigger sides and he may well get a run out against the Czechs. The issue with Kane is he does not have the attributes to make an impact from the bench but has done nothing so far either. Southgate has subbed him twice; does he have the guts to drop him?

Think he was disappointing against Romania and that might be why. But considering the likes of Kane and Sterling have been disappointing for two matches on the bounce (goal aside for the latter) he probably deserves another shot.

Team for the Czech Republic? on 18:06 - Jun 21 with 905 views | pointofblue | Chilwell and Mount are currently self-isolating as they were in close contact with Billy Gilmour after the final whistle on Friday. Shaw or Trippier can cover Chilwell. An easy way to bring Grealish into the fray if Mount is missing?

Team for the Czech Republic? on 20:10 - Jun 21 with 767 views | MerseyBlue | Pickford James - Stones - Mings - Shaw Phillips Bellingham - Henderson Grealish - Kane - Foden Phillips behind a central mid pairing of Bellingham and Henderson wouldn't sacrifice any defensive strength or forward momentum. Grealish and Foden need to play so one of them has to be on the right and I think it makes more sense for that to be Grealish. Kane needs a goal, this set-up would be in the aim of getting him on the scoresheet in the first half. Left out Chilwell and Mount because their status is unclear. Sterling, Rashford and DCL decent forward options off the bench. [Post edited 21 Jun 2021 20:12]

I thought it was because he had that throat infection and was still under the weather. Not 100% confident of that but he wasn't on the bench for the Croatia game. I don't know if we'll see Saka anytime soon either.

Team for the Czech Republic? on 06:58 - Jun 22 with 631 views | C_HealyIsAPleasure | We’ll almost certainly see changes now, I think the question is whether they’ll be wholesale to give players a run out or a couple of select changes to deliver a spark and try and get some momentum Personally I’d like the latter but fully expect the former
