Not that bad

Walker makes sense to me
I think Mings has been one of our best players but makes sense to get Maguire up to speed
I'd play Chilwell over Shaw but he is isolating
Sterling should be out but is our only goal scorer so far
Saka is a good call
Bellingham would be a good shout but happy for him to not start

I wouldn't be against that. We're already through to the knock outs, Southgate took Maguire so I suppose he should be involved otherwise it was a waste of a spot. Doesn't seem right that Mings should be dropped though as he's been in great form. Don't rate the double pivot but that is Southgate's want. Grealish and Saka exciting, and a good opportunity to give Foden a rest. Not my ideal by any stretch but could see it working.

Don't see much wrong with that imo, good to see Grealish and Saka. Suspect he's resting Foden et al

IMO we need to scrap the double pivot, ideally we'd see Bellingham and Sancho from the start.

What a side that is.
Just have a look at it and compare it to sides of years gone by. Should be easily good enough to beat the Czechs if our attitude and tactics are right.
Bring it on.

Saka ahead of Sancho though?

Sancho had the most assists in the German leagues again didn't he and something like 15 goals?

The Germans seem quite surprised that he isn't playing along with Bellingham.

Agree with this.

Would love to see Bellingham start.

Don't mind the personnel, but would change the set up.

Lots of good options, I personally really like Saka.

Big fan of Bellingham and Sancho too though, would like to see them get some game time.

Given both teams have qualified, given the dubious prize of coming first is a match vs Germany/France or Portugal, given the risk of yellow cards and suspensions or injury, I am struggling to see a top match tbh.

Scotland vs Croatia though, winner gets through, draw gets sfa - expect both teams to go for it.

Perfect time to give some of the fringe players a go. I'd be playing Grealish, Calvin-Lewis and Sancho if it were me. They'll be hungry and might just play their way into the first team.

Really rate Sancho but he's not really done it in an England shirt yet. I'm sure it will come but get the feeling that combined with a throat infection, that's why he doesn't seem to be at the forefront of Southgate's plans. I'd like to see Bellingham play more too, I thought Saka was still injured but there's no denying he's been one of the only bright spots in Arsenal's season.

Southgate really has it in for Sancho for some reason

I'm happy with that. Would've wanted Foden over Saka, but otherwise I like it.

He took Henderson too who is arguably better than Rice or Phillips so your logic doesn’t stand up

He hasn't picked Henderson so I didn't feel the need to comment on him... I personally wouldn't have either of them, I think they're both overrated compared to the others we have and are only there because they're senior players playing for bigger clubs.

Rice will be in there tonight because he played with Soucek all season and will know his game inside out.

Reckon Southgate will bring Hendo on at some point, particularly if we get another sharpish
