All well and good moaning at those of us who went yesterday but let’s have some ideas for some new chants. Even if only one on the whole thread eventually catches on, it’ll be worth it.
Thought of three the last couple of weeks. Posted one on here already: 1) Scotty Frasers magic He wears a magic hat He used to play for MK But he said no f*** that He came to play for Ipswich To wear the blue and white And when we reach the championship We’ll sing this song all night
Oh... Scotty Frasers Magic...
2) Ashton had a dream To build our football team We signed 6 strikers so he filled our team up with goals We play from the back We build in attack We’re Ipswich town We’re on our way back!
I think the issue is more that we're stealing other teams songs and adapting for our players. We need some completely original songs. Not knocking your effort btw.

It's got to be something that most people know the tune for, that's why songs like Sloop John B and Love Will Tear Us Apart are so adaptable.
I'm going with something something Vaclav Hladky to the tune of La Bamba. I might sit down and really stare at the squad list and have a go at some through the week, although most of the efforts tend to get knocked which I think puts people off trying.

A few more we’ve sung that most people outside of S6 probably haven’t heard.
That bottom one was sung a fair bit at away games two years ago and most joined in so I’d say that’s a good example of one of yours catching on. Good stuff.
Big fan of the thread, but we need a way of actually getting them on the terraces, somebody needs to get hold of the kids in section 6 and just get one of them to look at this thread, they are also the ones that get the cr@p songs going at away games.
I think it is great they want to get an atmosphere going but we need to put them on to better songs.
BUT MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL.......get rid of that stupid drum

The tune is exactly the sort of thing we should sing immediately before kick off. I am not aware anybody else uses that tune, and it leads itself to everybody joining in. So I personally think you’re in to something unique, and worthy of serious consideration.
