It became unwatchable because it was the only way he could compete and get results with the meagre resources he had. If he’d had a decent squad and budget the football would have been decent. There weren’t many complaints about the style of football when he took us into the play offs. We were punching above our weight then when comparing our squad to those who finished below us. | |

The OP is correct in that we'd be much better off with MM in charge but its a pointless thing to contemplate when MM isn't going to manage in the third tier.
