I think Evans will get the nod, but El Miz is pushing him hard. El Miz should at least be on the bench and if that means Harper dropping out - so be it. We don’t need another 10 in the squad, seeing that Harper has now been re-invented as one. |
Clever way for Cook to leave him out of the side without telling him he's not been good enough. He can now tell Harper that now he's considered to be a number 10 the only reason that he has not made the team is because competition for places there is so strong. | | | |

Evans has had one decent game in ten against the divisions weakest team, it's hardly a stretch to think that El Miz would get a chance, given everytime he has had a chance he has been excellent. |
PC has trust in Evans, he'll continue to get given the starts, but Evans will know there are others that are eager with the capability breathing down his neck now and that's the difference from a few games ago. I know this will mean changing formation, which won't happen, but I'd like to see El Miz in a midfield 3 with Morsy and Evans, got a good mix of everything there. | |

The Woolfenden/Burgess partnership needed work and didn’t need to be split up in the first place. Now Cook has made the decision to do so he probably has to stick with it, whatever the outcome. | |
