Every manager is different of course. The only other manager that interests me right now is Liam Manning.
The way he has MK Dons playing is pretty special. The way they play, the ability they have to pass through and open teams up so quickly is very good to watch - every player looks as though they constantly want the ball, and are confident in their ability on the ball.
He would turn to a 3-5-2 which I think suits this squad.

I would think that working hard for a couple of weeks on our shape off the ball would start to show some improvement. And then work on the patterns of play further forward, so we're quicker on the ball.
4-2-3-1 isn't intrinsically a problem formation for us, just that the way we are playing it is ineffective too often. |  |
