Anyone know if he was arrested at the match after being escorted away?
Either way - hopefully a lifetime ban from matches awaits.

Not much deterrent to others not to do it I would say.

Totally self-inflicted, no sympathy from me if he gets a harsh punishment.

Banned for life come on this is not a murder and often young people grow up by the time they are in their forties.
Maybe a two or three season ban
And possibly go on a course to understand their actions.

Nope. Life ban for him. The bloke ran several metres and put his hands on a football player.

His days of watching live football in a stadium should be over imo.

He should be made to paint the entire Berney Arms Windmill just off the Yarmouth to Acle road.

I said a harsh punishment, I didn't specify a punishment.

You think an apology is enough for his behaviour?

You'd have people on the pitch at every match if that was the accepted punishment.

He was an idiot in the heat of the moment, I'd suggest he make a public apology first and be forced to apologise in person to Walton for the push. I bet he feels a complete idiot now the adrenaline and beer have worn off. I'd agree if he thumped him in the face, but a lifetime ban for a push? Maybe not, a few games ban, apology, and some money to a local charity for being a t1t would suffice on this one.

What are you on about you lemon.

Will Walton want to sign permanently? Why would he? For that he deserves far more than a ban.

Yeah, that's where I'm at. lifetime ban, but jail would be OTT.

Ban him for 5-10 years.

Custodial sentence would be very harsh considering some of the crimes in this country that haven’t ended in prison.

There was a similar incident in Scotland a couple of weeks ago and the Dundee 'supporter' has been charged with assault and bound over to appear in court:

Of course, there were the two inbred buffoons who invaded the Carrow Road pitch during their 7-1 drubbing by Lambert's Colchester and threw their season tickets at poor old Bryan Gunn. Even more astonishingly, they were father and son!

Both banned for life. Also, don't forget that was the first game of the season, so even if they hadn't been banned, they had basically spent a few hundred pounds on season tickets which they then disposed of - did they think "Well, I'm sure they'll send them back to us. They'll know it was just bantz." The fact that the Budgies then romped to the League One title that season means it is somewhat amusing to think of these two sitting at home sucking a thoughtful tooth listening to the radio instead of going to the games.
