I agree. I mentioned it in another post about lack of chances etc. But also not entirely sure if he's own game is in par with earlier performances either. Absolutely could just be lack of chances. But imo we may aswell utilise the squad we have and Pigott and nors might offer something different for the midfield to work with.

It’s not a massive surprise Bonne has been benched, especially with a game Tuesday. On paper it’s a strong side but we’ve got some partnerships in there that are relatively untested. Evans - Carroll - Chaplin. Pig & Nors. Thompson only making his 2nd appearance.
A lot of unknowns, let’s hope we can do the business. I’m sure there will be changes again on Tuesday, but first things first it’s all about 3 points today. | |

Think Norwood might have to pick it up a bit if he's going to earn that new contract.
We'll give Pigott every opportunity because we're on the hook for a lot of money. But the whole "he's only bad because he isn't getting a run" very rarely works out. In practice being able to come into the team at short notice and produce something is how you earn a run and is part of the job. You aren't going to get 3 games of grace period to work things out! |  |
