Indeed. Would have needed a big win to move ahead of us on goal difference. Mathematically it is also possible that we overtake 3 of the teams above us and Bolton finish ahead of us. However, I think it is highly unlikely. It will take phenomenal form for us to make the play-offs. I can't see any of the teams below us maintaining the same form as well. One team might, two of us won't.

I've been doing 6 team Accas every Saturday and haven't won once in three seasons..

...and I'm doing on paper what seem to be the pretty odds on teams too, no draws or throwing in risky ones..

Not sure it's player recruitment they got right. Swap our managers in August and I'm pretty sure you reverse our positions. Very few players in the Wigan squad who are an obvious upgrade on what we've got. James McClean is the only obvious one to me.
