How would you judge the new owners so far? on 15:52 - Feb 17 by FrimleyBlue
Good at the media side of things, went missing when things weren't great. Pretty much silient owners ever since really.
Overall, stadium looks better ( But I think Evans ordered the banners etc before he left?)
Summer onwards is key really, new pitch - does it happen, will they develop the training ground, etc etc
Think Phil mentioned that the plan was for the end of the season to install new pitch, kinda goes hand in hand with the comments about style of play and needing a decent surface for it to flourish.
The only problem with being a judge is that you're likely to end up in Colchester.
They've started well, but it's a long game. They dealt with Cook wrong in hindsight (should have gone long before he did, as he was obviously not fit for what they wanted to do). McK looks like an inspired choice, but still early days and let's see how he deals with some bad times before going overboard with the praise (I've got good feelings though - he's ticking all the boxes for me). We also don't know how the owners will handle the finances. Ashton walked away from BC with them in a right financial mess. Again, it'll take 2-3 years to judge them on the business side.
A good start and breath of fresh air after Evans (worse thing to happen to us in our history, so that's not hard). A solid 7/10 for me so far.
Game Changer 20 and 3 lions - Very good, they set out an exciting vision, built positive momentum, now in season it’s clear they have handed over to MOL MA and coaching team; we’d expect to hear from 3Lions periodically (start / end of season and on trips to Ipswich).
The next time to evaluate is once the season ends/summer transfer window.
