The club currently has 25 players over the age of 21, so there's no scope to register all of them full stop. 2 are out on loan (Yengi, Morris), but even as it stands we'd have to leave at least one player off our squad list (the maximum is 22).
eta: Actually I missed that Dobra and John-Jules are technically under 21s, so we're still one under the maximum, we wouldn't need to Kenlock anyone as it stands. [Post edited 29 Jun 2022 17:45]

I suspect we may have a bit of a wait. The yank guy with the beard seemed to suggest Ashton needed to pull his finger out this year so I doubt there will be much spending unless some move out. If these are restricted to loan moves it could be we end up with similar or hardened third division players . |
In a separate thread we have established that we have 21 senior players qualified by over 21 rule or gk rule which includes Hughes. We are therefore at or basically at 1 in 1 out including potential use of loans to move players out rather than simply leave them out of the 21 player squad. | |

I don't see Aluko or Humphreys as regular 40 game starters.. So, for me, we could do with another incoming in the AM area. As long as they're an upgrade..
I'm not trying to get rid of anyone.. But if we had to move Burgess and Piggot on, to provide funds/wages to accommodate a new signing. Then I don't think there would be a big outcry from the supporters. Again, as long as any incomings are seen as definite improvements.. Nothing against Burgess. But just purely stylistically, you could argue that he's not a perfect fit...
Addition needed at the top end of the pitch, imo.. Either striker or goal scoring AM...
We'd have to be pretty lucky with injuries, to get by, with no new additions, imo..
