No- it's a direct comparison with the equivalent fixtures last season eg last season's home game against Oxford compared with today's result, and so on for all 23 matches we have played. But the three teams promoted from last year's L1 are replaced by the three relegated from the Champ, (play off replaced by bottom of Champ etc) and the three relegated from L1 are replaced by the corresponding teams who were newly promoted from L2 at the end of last season. |  | | |

They are comparison with the same fixtures from last season and they really are bonkers aren't they? I am still not sure how much they are testament to how far off the pace we were or how good we are this season. I think it is a bit of both really. We are a point better per match on average over half a season. Continue that and we would have 46 more points - 116! OK, we aren't going to manage that (we would have to win every match to get 117). | |

Splitting our season so far in half (prior to yesterday's game), our projected totals based on that form would be:
First 13 games: 106 Points, 96 Goals
Second 13 games: 74 Points, 74 Goals
As you say, really need to get back to winning ways soon, particularly with key games against teams in and around us coming up.
