We can't actually defend can we.
In terms of hanging on in there when the going gets tough, backs to the wall for 90 minutes, not continuously being sloppy at the back, being decisive, etc
We defend and keep all these clean sheets by having the ball, not because our defenders are actually proper big forearmed, hairy arsed men.
That's yet another completely avoidable goal we've given away and I'm starting to lose count this season.

Both. Our midfield is unreal but outside of that our defence is error prone and our stroke force is blunt. |  |

I'd also throw in the fact, although we create chances we don't actually get a lot of those on target, it was the same against Lincoln the other week. Nobody is disputing that we have thrown away points we ought not to have done on a number of occasions this season. We are also 2nd and, had we not thrown those leads away we would be well clear at the top. A few tweaks to put it right should see a fantastic second half of the season. It is a far cry from when we were out-performing our statistics and snatching points based on a solid defence and a negative style of play. | |

Defence wasn’t the problem today - Walton was. Similar for a couple of goals at Charlton too.
Saying that I wish McKenna would split up the Woolfenden and Edmundson partnership. Though at this rate, one of them will have to move into midfield anyway. | |
