Quite bonkers, so much for last season being a freak with all the high points tally’s of the top 6, looks like this season is on course to beat that!

Our game at home against Peterborough just before Christmas suddenly starts to look like quite a big one!

Interesting that all 3 teams who went up last season were in the top 7 by this point….

Both us and Plymouth on course for 100 points, extrapolating our current totals over 46 matches. Until Saturday, we were both going to beat Wolves' 103-point record total achieved in 2013/14.

you just know the top 3 will end up with points in the 90's, and that 3rd place team will be gutted heading into the PO's....

No, you'd have thought not, but still seems likely to be very high totals.

Quite likely that 90+pts will not be good enough to make automatic but 75 pts could be enough to make play offs.

I’m amazed that Sunderland were only 7th.

As they say ‘it’s a funny ol’ game’.

Linear extrapolation is obviously a crude way of looking at this but Plymouth certainly looking at a possible 100 points.

I think it could come down to a bit of luck between Town and Plymouth. Our squad depth seems deeper and we are far less reliant on loans, it could come down to things like injuries to key players or suspensions or even poor refereeing decisions in crucial matches.

Also a good chance that Wednesday or one of the chasing pack could put a run together and get in the mix.

It's why you really don't want to giving points to the likes of Lincoln and drawing games like sat.

It's been a hectic month. One which we didn't look that great in and players like Donacien and Chaplin way off the standards known of them. Hopefully a lighter November will give them the opportunity to recharge their batteries.

If 16 points from 21 is "not looking that great" then I remain optimistic for the rest of the season.

For what it's worth, I think we'll win the league.

Of course. But purely based on the 19 season.. we need to keep performances up to go with the wins we have had.

I'd probably feel a bit more relaxed about it all without that Lambert season.. it's just hard to trust town.

It's an interesting one foe them becaues they were top at this point last year and didn't make it, let's hope for a similar drop off again, could do with Lambo parachuting in to show them how to blow the league
