What precisely is your gripe with Bracknell?

Monday is probably the biggest money-spinner in their history - they're entitled to try and get as much money out of it as they can.

On the KOA podcast the chairman said his brother works in Michelin star kitchens.

I'm not sure why you are so obsessed with Bracknell trying to make money - this is huge for them - they should of course try and maximise their revenues as it could probably see them through a couple of seasons.

You're looking very petty today in various threads.

You're acting a like a tool.

Nobody is forcing anybody to go for a nice meal and then watch the match from a box, it's entirely up to the individual if they would like to do that.

It's not greedy, it's giving people an option which they can then decide whether to take.

You're acting like he's forced you to buy a ticket in the box and served you Wimpy.

Pathetic stuff really.

Exactly.

To this, I'd add that the majority of people who opt for executive matchday experiences don't choose to do so because of the value on offer. They either use it as a business/networking opportunity, and/or as a chance to inject money into a club that they support whilst getting a tangible something in return.

It's far more business/accounts-friendly to give money in return for a service, rather than just have a £500 'donation' to Bracknell Town show up on your bank statements.

The chairman is wealthy and has put in £6m into the club over the last few years. Not sure how they can be seen as greedy.

Indeed. The Chairman was saying the the club suffered losses for the two years disruption due to Covid and that this match could see them finally break even.

I don’t begrudge them a penny.

Nice he is trying to give his brother a leg up.

These non league Chairman must be proper football fans to pump in that sort of cash into a club when they clearly won't see it come back, ever.

His brother has worked at some of the best restaurants in the country and is now chef patron at a place that is good enough to get a recommendation in the Michelin guide

He’s not giving him a leg up, in fact it’s probably his brother that’s doing him a favour

It’s still extortionate. I appreciate they are looking to make the most of this unique situation, but for what you’re getting that seems overly pricy.

You have choice pay it or don't pay it. I guess it's one way for town fans getting to the game if they can't get a ticket through normal channels.

That's true, but for what they are offering to say it's worth £275 is very questionable.

But that’s life though.

Some people will happily pay £500 for a jumper, whereas someone else won’t pay more than £20 for one from H&M. There are people who can do it and they will do it.

It’s just weird the OP is making such a big thing out of it. Especially as part of the romance of the cup is for smaller teams to have their day in the sun and a big payout.
