Bloody anarchists, refusing to fit into one of the boxes I made for them.

Perhaps they should call it 'The only held in white, Liberal, democracies World Cup.'

You didn't give the option "Disgusted, won't watch or follow, and will boycott all the sponsors products until the end of time". So I could only chose the watered down version.

This gave me the idea of looking for & then boycotting all the sponsors, so thank you. Here's the list I found. I'm locked into Visa, but happy to swerve forever and a day all the others. Some may miss MacDonald's, but the bonus there is you're getting two birds with one stone (I know, I know, sorry) by reducing meat consumption as well -

For those who just want a list from that link it is:
BYJU’s
Budweiser
Hisense
Mc Donalds
Vivo

and partners:
Adidas
Coca-Cola
Wanda Group
Hyundai / Kia
Qatar Airways
Visa

As you say, it is hard to avoid VISA if you're already with them. The others though are on the avoid at all costs list.

Boycotting the official sponsors is the easy thing to do. If people are really disgusted with Qatar regime then things become a lot harder. They have investments as diverse as the LSE to owning Chelsea Barracks.

I’m going to try to watch as much of it as possible. Not happy with it being there but I guess I’m too selfish not to watch it.

Hard to know until it kicks off. I'm not very excited and feel like England have missed the boat to win something recently.

I'll probably watch what I can, which won't be much then worry about us winning the league again.

as those sponsors are locked into pretty much all future Euro & World cups for the forseeable, does that mean boycotting those too ?

33% disgusted and won't follow.

At least it should be easy to get tickets for Newcastle away in a couple of years time...

Truly impaired.

That's what I ticked, but only because it was closest. There wasn't a 'disgusted but the Mrs is a Welsh nationalist so I will be forced to watch Wales at leek-point' option. I couldn't give a monkey's about England.

Come to think of it, it's not a very inclusive poll is it? Probably in breach of all sorts of equality, diversity and inclusivity laws too. Typical sloppy TWTD.

PS - no cheese option either!! Rookie mistake by the Dubster.

Yeah, pretty much. I'll certainly be prioritising our matches over the WC.
