if we cannot score goals. Look at our domination against the likes of Lincoln, Fleetwood , Cheltenham, Charlton , Cambridge and Sheffield Wednesday
McKenna has to take a good look at the system we are playing, great football but no end finish.
The opposition teams seem to have sussed us out if we cannot score early.

We just don’t convert enough of our opportunities. Same most weeks.

We're sitting second in the division on only 3 defeats and the best goal difference in the division. The system is 95% working, it maybe needs a tweak and a player or two more.

Appears to me it's worse when we go a goal down and the pressure is on to get it back. Maybe not composed enough with the final execution... be it shooting or crossing.

McKenna has to take a good look at the system that has led to us scoring the joint highest number of goals in the League......

I GET that people are conditioned by 2 decades of near-constant failure, but can we please try not be wetting the bed over the the occasional poor result?

If we played a more defensive-minded system like Pompey we would be able to stop the likes of Wycombe and Lincoln beating us.

Are you trolling? We scored 4 against Charlton, 3 against Cambridge, 2 against Sheff Wed, and 1 against Fleetwood and Cheltenham... If we kept clean sheets in the games you listed we'd have got 16 points from a possible 18.

The only league games we haven't scored in this season are Lincoln and Wycombe. So we don't score 1 in every 11 games.

We have the joint lowest number of defeats in the League.

We could go more defensive but the likelihood is we wouldn't win as many games.

Last season Wigan lost 8 and Rotherham 10. After the Oxford game we are half way through the season and so far we have lost 3 times.

Whoosh.

Would you like to swap places in the table with Pompey?

Joint highest scorers in the division and 13 more than Wycombe. I don’t think we need to worry what Ainsworth says.

Tell you one simple fact.

If we were in exactly the same position as we are now, but playing with 30% possession and 3 shots all game, you’d not see 20k crowds.

I go because I want to be entertained, we all do, we’re getting it, we’re second. Just enjoy what we have not be ungrateful.

Even when we win, it should be a lot more comfortable. It's just people take more notice of it when we lose

Maybe it's because when we go a goal down, the opposition get even more defensive.
When the score is even, there is at least some incentive for the opposition to try to get a goal. If they get that goal then it's a quick switch to a flat back 10.

Second half against Wycombe, the box was packed with their players defending, it was always going to be difficult to score against them.
