This might be a controversial view - but Swansea, like Ipswich are on the fringe of the play-offs, only one division higher up. Perhaps they want their own player to help them get in the play offs. |

He will beats all our current forward players on pretty much every metric this season excluding Conor Chaplin, who he has very similar metrics to.

He will be straight on the phone to Flynn Downes to talke about the club and his agent to get the rub on contract possibilities. Not sure if there was a sell on clause with Derby or if Swansea still owe us money over the Downes sell on clause (which could come into play in any deal).

Salary would not be an issue I don’t think, won’t be on anything higher than some of our top earners are already on.
Stumbling block may be fee, Posh normally if over egg the pudding regarding fees, but given their financial status now is possibly the time for a deal to be done.
Still think he’d be a £1.5M purchase though. | | | |
