Firstly, Plymouth rightly deserve to be top of the league and are going to be tough to shift. Credit to them for getting that point, they might get a bit more respect from some on here now. Secondly, we probably are the 3rd best side behind the Pilgrims and the Owls. This inability to keep teams out and not being able to capitalise when we are on top will mean we will come up short and finish in the play offs places, we aren’t quite good enough IMO to make those automatic spots.

It all depends how good Broadhead is now, we need to be more clinical

He’ll be injured, Hirst is rusty and Luongo does not get in the first pick squad.

I assume Plymouth have more in their locker than niggly fouls, fortunate decisions and flukey goals? Because in both games against them this season that’s all I’ve seen. I assume they must be more than a ‘play average and grind out some points” team against the rest of the division?

We gave them that point, why do we have to sit back and invite pressure when we’re a goal up rather than play the way that put us in front? They were going nowhere second half and we let them right back in.

Flukey goals? That was a terrific strike by their lad for their equaliser, nothing flukey about that.

He was pretty poor for most the game, but if you score like that, it’s all forgiven.

Happy to be wrong and probably am (but not willing to give that dirty cnt any credit) but he hit it right in front of me and I thought it deflected off one of our players and looped up.

Please. Can we stop having an orgasm over Plymouth.

We were our own worst enemy again.

They were better than the average league one team we play, but they were not pretty at all.

Yes it was a flukey goal I sat right in line and that didn't look like a shot, more like a ball to the far post with a deflection.

And Hardie had the best chance aside from the goals too.

I agree with you re Plymouth but today's result tells us nothing about Wednesday.

On the 11 February after they have played Plymouth and then visited Portman Road we can consider that more clearly.

It’s not about having an orgasm over them, it’s about giving them the respect they deserve. If you are top after 27 league games that’s not a side that is there by luck or by chance. They are clearly more consistent at doing things better than we are to get the results needed. Let’s not forget, we’ve played them twice and got 1pt. Yes, you can argue there wasn’t much between both teams over those two league games, but ultimately they’ve got 4pts off us and know how to get the job done.

It took a slight deflection, heavy is an exaggeration. You’ve got to buy a ticket to win the raffle, that’s something we don’t do enough of.

Didnt the goal we scored against them at their place get a huge deflection?

Intrigued how you’ve got that opinion from that, they offered next to nothing. They scored because we dropped off and allowed them up the pitch.

I thought they were decent for this level, away from home.

They were excellent down the right, where they eventually scored from.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

We've been above Sheff Wed for most of the season. Why are some so keen to lay down the sword and accept the play offs? They look good but we could be back above them in a few games time. Not saying we definitely will, just that it's odd people are so happy to accept it's over.

Because we’re Ipswich fans. We haven’t had a successful season since 14/15 and even then we did our best to muck it up at the end.

Well let’s hope that we can turn our form around and start to turn around that huge 4 point gap.

You know, like Wednesday turning around that dreadful form that saw them fall so far behind us.
