Anyone else confident we'll win them if we don't make the top 2? For me it depends who is in there. I can see us beating every team except Wycombe over two legs. Burnley, Rotherham, and all the top 6 games give me confidence we would. We could well get to the playoffs having not lost to any of the teams in there.

With our current form, confidence and team fitness I would not be bullish on 14:46 - Feb 19 with 675 viewsunstableblue

Barnsley, Derby and Bolton are good sides who are flying.. and despite our great 4-0 win, some of our performance yesterday showed we have a hangover from the recent run

But we have A LOT of games to gain momentum

Luongo fitness could be key and playing Burns into form and Hirst into goals

I do think a good win in front of 7200 next weekend could be a turning point, as could the Barnsley and Derby away games… and what I mean by this is we need to get the BIG game winning mentality needs to be cemented

We shall see

Some of the responses here are interesting. We've just played Sheffield Wednesday who were on a 6 game winning run, including beating Plymouth, and we drew the game and could easily have won it. I'm not sure the likes of Derby and Bolton are better sides than Wednesday and even in this poor run, nobody has given us a beating. We've lost four games all season, all by the odd goal and a couple of them in somewhat unfortunate circumstances. Think we need to get a bit of perspective, we are not an easy side to beat.

Once these three newbies settle more we will be more difficult to beat, and find games easier to win,

Sadly, I think our race is run. Even if we hang on to a play off spot, I cannot see us getting past the likes of Bolton and Derby. I hope I’m wrong and usually am. A win or two can work wonders on confidence and performance.

Unusually pessimistic for you Churchy. Of course you might be run, but I’d be very surprised if we don’t make the PO’s. K McK would be in big trouble if that was the case.

We’ll do very well to make the top 2 now, but with a slight upturn in performance level and the likes of Broady, Hirst and Loungo to come into form I’m still hopeful we will improve.

I’m definately in the camp that if we end up in the PO’s we can win them.

No idea why people have this irrational fear of Wycombe.

I think we would beat them over two legs.

I think we have struggled to breakdown teams that are prepared to park the bus for 90mins. I think they are the best in the league at parking the bus and getting a result. I think we can beat them over two legs. I just think it is the lowest probability.

I'm neither confident nor nervous.

The play-offs are cup ties between evenly matched teams. They're basically 50/50 games.

Some of the comments on here are very negative, considering we've only lost 4 league games all season, and have dominated in almost every game we've played. I'd be more confident against a 'decent' team like Derby or Bolton as I think we simply have better players than them

Agree - don’t think any side will look forward to playing us over two legs, big (hybrid I think like our new training ones?) pitch at Wembley will suit us. Plus , of course, best support in the league.

We’re so fragile right now I could see us going to somewhere like Derby or Bolton and folding like a pack of cards.

Why should we do that? We have not lost by more than one goal all season in the league.

We don’t tend to lose and when we do it isn’t by any great margin so I’d definitely fancy us to get to the final. Not sure I’d fancy us against Derby at Wembley given some of the experienced heads they’ve got - plus it’d be an occasion made for McGoldrick wouldn’t it! Anybody else and I think we’d have too much quality for them.
