I actually asked this very question in the chat today at half time, overwhelmingly Chaplin won the snap poll.

Poll: Is it an issue for you that the new England manager is foreign ?

Yep mate,Burgess and Morsy the two that spring to mind with more than 1 mention.

We tend to look at this around mid way in the season.

It is between Morsy Evans Chaplin Leif in that order based on match ratings. However Chaplin has proven to be a goal scoring machine and what’s not to like about him, his enthusiasm and his goal scoring form to date.

Let’s say Chaplin at this time, long may he wear his goal scoring boots.

I would have said Morsy until a few weeks ago. I do think Morsy has been hampered recently by carrying too much on his shoulders. Morsy, Davis or Chappers. I can see Chappers getting it as he's a popular character. Would we have scored so many from dead-ball situations without Davis?

Chaplin, then Davis for me.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

Good question, for me, if I was being asked to make a decision today, it would be between Chaplin, Davis and Morsy. Really don't know how I'd pick just one from them tbh, they've all made invaluable contributions in different ways.

Snap polls bring snap decisions... I think Chappers is well in the running for POT, but I wonder if the poll results would have been the same, during his barren run? Or straight after his penalty miss v SW.. (fickle bunch, ain't we?)
Chappers, Davis and Morsy for me, have been our most consistent performers. Burgess gets a mention, too. But then goals, like Wycombe away, stick in the mind.
Honorary mentions for Ladapo, who is now equal with his league goal tally last season at Rotherahm, 11. He, for me. Is our most improved player. So credit to him and KM and crew..
And honorary mention to Cam Humphreys, for best young player...Hes having a really good breakthrough season.

No brainer. Wolf’s been solid but these two are streets ahead.

I also think Chaplin, with Davis pushing him.
Really glad you give Humphreys a nod.
He's going to be some player for us.
I thought it was unbelievable one of our learned fans posted here that he wasn't good enough for this level following the Rovers game.
I do despair sometimes.

I said he had a poor game, after the Rovers match, tbf... But in hindsight, he was just a bit knackered, probably? And I was feeling a bit negative at the time.
Yeah, I think he's going to be a real gooden, and he's in good hands, too, imo..KM, speaks very highly of him. And him being chucked in at the deep end, will just harden him up a bit quicker..Thats quite a lot of pressure he's been playing under, for a teenager..
