If we manage to nick 2nd spot after that , we’ll have earned promotion in my book. Can we do it ? And if we fail , have we got the mental strength to deal with the disappointment and then win the play off lottery? COYFBssss is what I say and let’s raise the bloody roof home and away to get them over that line.

Tbh I don’t know how it compares with other teams. But I wouldn’t say it’s a great run in. Just hope we don’t lose our key players to injury over this period, ( same for everyone I know). Not sure when Barnsley are fitting in their 2 additional fixtures ….

I can’t see another free date tbh…. If we make the assumption it won’t be added on after the current last game vs Fleetwood.

They play on 21st March though but then no fixture on 1st April. [Post edited 15 Mar 2023 21:31]

2nd May is theoretically free, although as Hoppy points out on another thread, that would clash with the end of season do.

So, April fixtures now look like this …. on 21:39 - Mar 15 with 1996 views | Vegtablue | We will play the same number of games on the same dates as Barnsley. Plymouth with play on 2nd, 7th, 10th, 15th, 18th, 22nd 25th and 29th. Are you still comfortable with your point*😂 edit I confess to predicting the second half of the post rather than reading it! Whichever of the three finishes ahead after a congested April for all will certainly deserve it, 💯% *If your point is that our run-in features teams higher up the table then this is situation unchanged [Post edited 15 Mar 2023 21:44]

Us and Barnsley both play this weekend but after that they play their two games in hand (Sheff Wed at home and Exeter away) before our next game.
So, April fixtures now look like this …. on 22:25 - Mar 15 with 1728 views | clive_baker | We’ve got a big squad for a reason. The end of the season is gruelling for everyone, but with the depth we have it could be a competitive advantage over our opponents. We’ve also got a mini break after Saturday. 2 weeks to prep for the final push. 10 games left. Cliche but it’s 1 at a time innit, keep ticking them off. We’re capable of winning any of those in their own right. Got to beat Shrewsbury Saturday, hit that 75 point mark and use the break as best as we can before Derby. I fully expect Plymouth to win on Saturday so it’s vital we do too.

So, April fixtures now look like this …. on 22:32 - Mar 15 with 1680 views | King_ding_a_lin_g | We all have congested fixture lists. Barnsley have two more games than us to fit in and Plymouth have one extra. We have Shrewsbury at home which we should win if we're serious about finishing second and then we have a two week break until Derby away. In the meantime, Barnsley have both their games in hand, including a local derby against Wednesday and a trip down to Exeter. Not easy at all. I calculate that if we beat Barnsley, we finish above Plymouth on goal difference and Barnsley by three points. Happy days. edit: I also just wanted to add that Plymouth's away form isn't great at all. They have been smashed away by Peterborough and Barnsley... we don't look anywhere near vulnerable enough to be smashed by anyone... let alone Peterborough. Plymouth also drew at home to Fleetwood recently. [Post edited 15 Mar 2023 22:37]

So, April fixtures now look like this …. on 22:45 - Mar 15 with 1587 views | Nthsuffolkblue | That's a busy month but so will it be for the other teams. Bolton have played one more than us but several have already played 2 fewer. Bolton actually have 8 fixtures scheduled for April already with the first being a cup final. Our squad has good depth and McKenna has been utilising it all season. I fancy us to handle a busy period at least as well as any of the other teams.
