PASOTI / Owlstalk 20:42 - Apr 16 with 5196 views | BlueNomad | There really seems to be a visceral dislike of us. We are “entitled” and “arrogant” while our team won’t deal with the pressure of being top two. Jealousy too as tv and radio pundits are so excited about our form and style of football. Our very history is resented. To be honest I don’t care about their teams, I’m just enjoying this season and the buzz around the club at last. If we finish second then great, I will be optimistic next season with good reason..
PASOTI / Owlstalk on 20:45 - Apr 16 with 5097 views | WeirdFishes | Ironic that Wednesday fans would behave that way. Quite possibly the most dislikable fan base I’ve ever come across.

PASOTI / Owlstalk on 20:48 - Apr 16 with 5034 views | farkenhell | I don't really give flying feck what fans of other clubs think of us. Concentrate on ourselves and, as you say, enjoy the ride!
PASOTI / Owlstalk on 21:39 - Apr 16 with 4648 views | Churchman | Their dislike of us? I’ll try and live with the disappointment. I’ve always got on well with Wednesdayites, but their message board does seem to have gone a bit hysterical. Plymouth supporters? Whatever. In reality, I’m only interested in our next game and hopefully us winning it.

PASOTI / Owlstalk on 22:01 - Apr 16 with 4471 views | BigCommon | Found most Plymouth fans to be ok, tbf..Just the odd usual banter, but nothing toxic.... SW, on the other hand are a funny old bunch. Can understand their frustration, atm, though. Their club has gotten very little right in recent years. And their parents brought them up to believe that they were a really massive club. And a lot of them have reached the age now, where they realise, that their parents have lied to them.. Not sure why they want to take it out on us though. As, according to them, we are "little old Ipswich".
PASOTI / Owlstalk on 22:08 - Apr 16 with 4423 views | FoD_Blue | A large number of our fanbase have never seen us win a promotion. The rest of us have not seen a promotion for over 2 decades. Entitled and arrogant? Absolutely not. A little excited? Absolutely!

Given our record in the playoffs, 8 playoffs and only 1 success, I suspect we are all pretty keen to finish in the automatic places?

PASOTI / Owlstalk on 08:19 - Apr 17 with 3474 views | TRUE_BLUE123 | Pots and Kettles from Wednesday fans, they are the definition of entitled. As for Plymouth, good for them if they win the league, will probably be the biggest achievement in their history. I don't mind where we finish, just want to get up.

I presume it relates to their reliance on loans. Plymouth Argyle, sprouting other teams’ investments.

Plymouth Argyle's superiors? Obviously That's Ipswich. I think it's probably Plymouth Argyle Supporters On The Internet?
PASOTI / Owlstalk on 09:28 - Apr 17 with 3127 views | Dyland | Every club has fans who are unrepresentative of the wider fan base and act like idiotic divs on social media. Town are strong in this regard but it's probably just me noticing it more than than other clubs. I don't give a hoot about who finishes where as long as Town are promoted, but given a choice would rather Argyle and Tykes , not because I like them (though fond memories of Barnsley fans class in London after Wembley 2000) but because of Owls', er, arrogance and absurd entitlement. I used to have a random soft spot for Wenesday only because they were rivals of the Blunts, but no more, no sirree. Let's not be tvats though, we've achieved nothing yet. Hubris if one's inclined IF and only if we are promoted. Even then, I can't be arsed with that.

It is indeed Plymouth Argyle Supporters on the Internet As one of the "other team' interlopers who occasionally graces these pages I think every forum has a very similar make up.....by and large I find that sane posting begets sane responses....so if you go to a fan site and troll the fans expect to be dealt with harshly. Earlier this season when I posted about young Jadon on here and elsewhere I was humbled by how generous supporters of many clubs would be for a young boys plight.... The vast majority of fans want three things, success, great football and bragging rights over their rivals Town and Argyle, and then to a lesser extent Barnsley currently therefore are living the dream. I don't think we would be shy if our form was at the level you guys are currently playing....truly excellent and at just the right time....the positive...it shows how good we have been all season that even after all that we still lead the way. I also understand how it would be if we suddenly melted like the Owls on Pasoti...because we had it last season. Six weeks ago we were fearing Shrewsbury as an away match because they were a form side...now the fear is they are a wounded beast and we might not take them seriously enough. I am sure some of your fans are now worried that Port Vale will have a new manager/coach bounce, bring in some wondered from the youths to replace the suspended players.....plus ca change. What I think is a shame is that one of two great young coaches is going to miss out on Manager of the Year because they make the choice too soon...right now I think it will be Shumacher....against the odds..recovery from last season...much lower budget...Papa Johns finalists ( yes let's gloss over that bit). Yet there is every chance he gets that and you then win the title. If this was still Grand National week then we would be Foinavon, you are Red Rum and Wednesday are Crisp (as in done to a) So I hope the race stays tight to there end (for second) and that we manage to avoid the play offs....Wembley trips seemingly not our thing....I am neutral on who comes up but with my pundit head on it is ours and yours to win or lose....and we should both know the answer to that before the final game. Play off wise I fancy Barnsley to win them unless something remarkable happens and they steal a place in the top two.... Still as I alway title my fixture preview/review on past...One Game at a Time

This is the type of comment I like to read from rival fans - a joint love of football. I hope it is us and Plymouth, who thoroughly deserve to go up for what they have done over the entire season.
