Think that Sheffield Wednesday will still go through ?
I think they are well capable of scoring 5 at home against Peterborough,An early goal could put doubt in the posh defence im backing Wednesday to win it and go onto beat Bolton in the final.

I can't see it personally. It's too big a mountain to climb and Wednesday's confidence is going to be shot after that display. They won't keep a clean sheet as they'll have to chase the game now which will leave them open, that could prove deadly with Peterboroughs frontline, I can see an aggregate of 6-2 or more.

No but it's definitely not over. We've all seen enough football to know that.

Not a chance. If they were 3-0 down then a couple of quick early goals would make it interesting but they’re shot.

While they may be able to score 5 at home, I don't see them keeping a clean sheet.

They wouldn't need to. 5-1 would be a brilliant result for them. Would then become a 30 minute mini game and possibly penalties to go through.

No chance they keep Peterborough out so might as well go out to win 6-2 and go for it from minute one to try and force ET.

Not really, Bob. Whenever I've seen them they've looked sh!t. Good at grinding out one nils perhaps, but not much else.

No. And it makes me happy after all their fans crowing back in Feb.

Other things that will make me happy include (but are not limited to) -

- Peterborough to lose at Wembley so we can all bathe in the tears of Darragh MacAnthony.
- Barnsley to come up
- Norwood to be sold as Barnsley know he's too limited for the Championship

I like MacAnthony. Not sure what he has done other than defend his club from us taking their players? He talks a bit too much maybe but seems like he does things for the right reasons. I'd rather him as an owner than the likes of Evans.

The only teams they've scored five against were Cambridge, MK (who got two back) and Forest Green. None of whom were remotely as strong as Peterborough.

Their average goals per home game against teams finishing in the top half of the table is 1.25 (including a 3-3 draw with Portsmouth on the opening day and 3-1 against Wycombe).

Edit: Heck, they haven't scored more than three in any of their cup games, either, even against lower-division opponents.

So not really, no.

No chance now imo, posh have beaten Barnsley away not conceding and now Sheff Weds not conceding, so confidence is high and they're bound to score at Hillsborough given their pace on the break..

No.

I think Posh will go there and win too.

Think I read the largest playoffs deficit ever to be overturned is 2 goals! And Weds have only scored once against them in their three matches this season.

Not for me 😅

I think Posh played a similar way to us the other night . Keeping possession and moving the ball. We’d by comparison are a really league one lump it outfit relying on a physical approach ( so it seemed to me). I think Posh are too quick and too tactical astute, and will catch them on the break.

Pretty amazing considering they have Norris in goal. Poor with his feet and flaps at everything.

Yeah not very commanding of his box, decent shot stopper, the save to deny Smith in the first half was important looking back.
