Apart from multiple Christmas trees and a santa costume
Christmas is the backdrop to it but it’s not a Christmas film. Even Bruce Willis has said that it’s not a Christmas film - plus it was released in summer.

Doesn't matter. Best Xmas film....ever....end of.
Ade Akinbiyi couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo...
I take it you've never worked in an office full of women Gav. It usually starts on the 27th of December. You don't need a showing of Die Hard to confirm it.
If you don't accept Die Hard is a christmas movie, then you're just not getting it.
Exactly... A man, risking his life so the person he loves and innocent people can get back to there family in time for Christmas. Central Christmas themes therefore being putting others before yourself (sacrifice) and family.
If we refuse to accept Die Hard as a Christmas movie, then arguement could be made to remove many movies.
If Die Hard is just an action film set in Christmas, then Jingle All the Way is just a capitalist propaganda film set in Christmas. Arnold Schwarzenegger spends the whole movie fighting with other parents to buy a toy. The premise of that movie is if you don't buy something your kid wants, you ruin Christmas and you're a bad person.
