I’ve said it many a-time on here since, but I must’ve watched that video at least 472 times. What a video, what a bloody belting goal by Hirst, and what a rendition of Super Kieran McKenna at the end with his arms aloft.
The "BLUE ARMY" chant during the break in play will live with me for along time, we were under the cosh a little and the fans stepped up, then the players did the rest. Was very reminiscent of the burley days, have memories of Watford away Georgie burleys blue and white army being sang continuously for what seemed like the whole half.

For me, it was the celebrations at the end (knowing we had effectively done it) which was the highlight , with even the normally straight-laced McKenna lapping it up, and milking it for all it was worth.

Unbelievable. 5,000 fans making that journey on a Tuesday night is phenomenal. The best part, I bet most of us went there believing we'd win.
As others have said, the Blue Army chant when their man was down injured was a beautiful moment and it definitely gave the team a much needed boost. Broadhead's goal with the delayed celebration, followed by the raptures for Hirst. Broady missing his penalty giving me some classic doubt before Chaplin rounds it off.
What a game, what a day, what a result. Hirst's goal remains my absolute single highlight of the season, to go in 2-0 at halftime in a match that had been fairly close was an incredible feeling.
Hadn't watched the highlights for a while so good to see them again.
That rousing “na na na na na na Ipswich” before the game. Spine tingling. Also, wondering how many Town fans missed either of our first two goals because they were getting refreshments…
I just love the picture of the crowd going nuts when I think the second goal went in. Oh how I’d like to have been part of that.
Those that have followed this club, especially away from home, through so many years of dross really deserved that moment. The moment that said we’d done it.

I was lucky enough (and old enough but only 13 ish) to have been in Amsterdam in ‘81
I can honestly say that the” Barnsley night “was right up there
I was old enough, but didn’t have any money so missed that as well. And Oxford away in 92 having seen so many of the games in the run up. I could weep.
Still, sometimes you should be happy with what you have seen and actually, wherever you are enjoying the moment. I certainly hammered the scotch bottle at the end of the Barnsley game in April.
