Do Ford still do the Ghia level of equipment in their cars? I have never owned a Ford personally but when we was kids, my dad had a couple of Cortina Ghias. The Ghia badge gave you bragging rights over the other kids whose dads just had a GL or even worse an L! [Post edited 12 Sep 2023 11:41]

You could have an XL Tuanzebe! No, Ford haven’t used the Ghia badge for some years for their cars. Vignale and Titanium are the names used for their top spec cars - my mate has a Focus and Fiesta Vignale, being a Fords only man all of his life. I had an Mk1 Escort 1300XL back in the day. Not the top spec, that was the E, but it did boast square headlights, brown metallic paint with beige interior, a rev counter, carpet, vinyl roof and a few extra gauges. Wow! Drove well, good gearbox/transmission, broke down a lot. Oh and I set it on fire. And drove it after sorting the brakes but forgetting to tighten the wheel nuts. The front wheel came off at 30mph. There were a lot of sparks…. Sold it as I needed every penny for a deposit on my flat. Never had another Ford but driven most models for one reason or another. Good cars, but not for me.
