But not launching a load of attacks against civilians today would have at least maintained the status quo. They have essentially given Israel just motive to turn the screw against them and lost a lot of sympathy internationally. And for what? | | | |

My point is and always has been, governments covering their eyes to human rights abuses and deliberate breaches of internatiional laws. I'm not a fan of violence whoever dishes it out and generally it is the most innocent that suffer the most. When I try to imagine what it must be to find yourself born into the grind that must be life in Gaza I struggle to imagine how I might respond meaningfully or constructively. | |
