Feeling unsafe is not the same as being unsafe, I'm amazed that they made it to the protests untouched tbf!
I have had many conversations with Jews in recent months in person and on line. The extent of othering that they are subjected to in their family upbringing is incredible....it is often taboo to even utter the word Palestine or Palestinians for example. In this context it is not surprising that perceived fear wins out. |

It must be pure coincidence that there appears to be this correlation between those that want to push this fear narrative and those that seem comfortable to allow the Israeli State to continue on its warmongering course. I’ve told you my problem with you popping up on a thread about Jewish people facing discrimination and being attacked around the world multiple times. For whatever reason these events being called out seems to a problem for some.
If you want a sensible debate about the Middle East situation, geo politics and international relations I’m sure there’s many places for it. I even think there’s a rather lengthy thread commending Israel’s response.
Unfortunately there’s a few people for whatever reason can’t get their head around it but keep showing up to challenge all of this from their ideological viewpoint. | | | |

I just read the entire article. It makes two brief mentions of no go zones and mostly focuses on whether London is safe for Jewish people.

This is nothing to do with ideology. In a thread that states that the World is getting scary for Jews I think it is fair to point out that many Jews are not scared supported by evidence.
You are correct there is a thread about how many Palestinian lives are enough. The evidence is that it is somewhere in excess of 30,000 and rising. I'm sure that your input on that thread will be enlightening for us all.

I think what people are trying to get at Chorley is that this thread isn't the place to discuss what you wish to discuss.
If you wanna start a new thread or possibly even post on the large How Many Palestinian Lives thread on subjects such as the pros and cons of zionism or the weaponising of antisemitism by the state of Israel then those invested in this thread will probably find that less upsetting.
