Hard to tell who’s the worst though. We’ve been poor so far. Slowly starting to come into the game and there’s a long way to go, but a lot of wasteful performances so far. We look slow too. |  |

We have definitely played at a slower tempo, we look most vulnerable when we lose the ball high up the pitch
Harness and Chaplin not in the game enough, we aren't doing a great job overloading their full backs, as we normally do

Yep. A lack of quality to open them up too. We’re missing the likes of Broady. I don’t like the long diagonals either. If we’re going to go long, at least get a second player up there to contend the second ball. I don’t think we’ve won one of those yet.

Davis is clearly mismatched in the air against their right sided players, they need to abandon that one

Like it or not, (and many on here don't), but we've definitely lost some fluidity since that postponement, which also ties in with the Burns injury.
Something has had an effect on us, and the next international break is well timed to get back on the training ground and work on our patterns of play. Chappers seemed frustrated to me, shooting when passing was a better option, and when the shot was on, his finishing wasn't there tonight. Hirst seemed isolated tonight too.
Ref was awful, gave us hardly anything, but Rotherham stuck to their gameplay well, and frustrated us. One of those games. [Post edited 7 Nov 2023 22:37]

Don't think teams have worked us out as such, we just really tend to struggle against bigger, physical teams, was like going back into the dark days of league one!! For me, we were just not at the races tonight, but we still got a point, if we win on Saturday, happy days! | | | |
