He's made the runs. Someone needs to pass to him. Looks like mass is starting to drift wide, probably with the idea of making that happen.

Ball showing how much we miss morsy. Just didn't have the confidence to take the ball forward on the half turn.

Morsy is superb at picking the right moment to drop a shoulder and then power forward. Ball is playing safe for the most part, which is fine, but you need to go a bit renegade at times.

I think he’s been okay, to be honest it’s hard to single anyone out as being bad, given that nobody is on their game (though I think Chaplin hasn’t done a lot wrong and noticed he’s been good at shouting instructions to others).

The problem is when we break the press the passes and long balls have all been poor. I’m not convinced Ladapo has the pace to break away either, so would have thought Jackson was the better option. Either way it’s a ridiculous amount of injuries and we are looking a bit threadbare.

He's done fine playing out of position but he is no Davis.

Ladapo has done fine but is no Hirst.

Ball is a big drop off from Morsy.

Hutchinson has done fine but is no Burns.

The combination of all the changes is that we are disjointed and struggling.

I thought Williams was originally cover for Leif but could obviously play right back as well. We’ve got far more cover on the right so surprised he’s not at LB tonight

Two cracking crosses from Humphreys, of Davis quality..

EDIT: he's showed a lot of quality this half

Yes, Humphreys had a good game, but was pooped in the last 10 minutes. Unsurprising as he put in a huge shift & hasn't played at this level for months.;

He grew into the game but was knackered by the end

Leigh might have offered a bit more? I don't know, it doesn't look an ideal option, long term!

In the circumstances Humphreys was absolutely fantastic. First start in the championship and played the 90 and never stopped running. What a shift for the team.

If Leigh had been here, Williams wouldn't be and Leigh would have then played right back possibly? Humphreys isn't a left back but he did an OK job there. The bigger issue was the lack of understanding across the pitch with so many changes (several probably at fairly short notice).
