Stansfield will stay at Birmingham now as Mogga tried taking him to Sunderland in the summer. Said a deal was agreed and that he'd spoken to him.

We better hurry up and confirm Travis as well because I could imagine Mogga would've liked to have taken him to Brum as well.

The appeal of a club in second place with a manager (and setup) whose reputation is sky high, might still hold sway, as good as Mogga is.

What's that got to do with whether Fulham think an opportunity now exists for him to play in a very similar system to their own and develop faster.... also maybe just maybe they might want to cash in if we offer a decent deal....
Although in reality I expect a name to come from nowhere and suddenly we are all open jawed at another suprise acquisition!

Suspect Fulham will be happier with Mogga there than they were Rooney. Good manager that wanted him in the summer and keeps him in the same environment/team he is doing well in personally, even if Birmingham aren't! Doesn't help our chances for sure.

Although I may be wrong of course!

Nah. Which club would any player in their right mind choose?

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

Depends what the recall clause says, how much of a say (if any) the host club has in the process and what promises may be made to the player to entice them to stay.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

True, though he has a massive chance of leaving a struggling side at the foot of the league for a side second chasing the Premier League, I know which one I'd choose, especially given he's a Fulham player too..

Oh and that's a proper appointment from Brum getting Mogga..

Not sure Stansfield is the one probably some one who has not even been mentioned who saw the two players we have started with let's wait and see.

From what I gather, he was set to stay with Birmingham before Rooney moved on as it was felt he was more likely to play regularly there than here, which I think is a fair point as I assume we'd also be after a more senior striker as well as Stansfield, who I assume will be a loan.

Any thoughts on who we're looking at Phil?

It's likely the biggest bit of business we'll do in Jan, more so now Hirst is out.

But that's now completely changed given Hirst's Injury, you could argue Stansfield will be a regular starter now for the foreseeable.

Not with the more senior loan striker here though.

Not if Fulham decide to sell and we are offering more.

No, and I'm not sure they know precisely who yet. There will be a number of names on a list, no doubt.
