In defence of Walton he was left totally exposed twice today. He maybe should have saved the second one. He’s probably feeling low, he’s only played 5this season and must have conceded 7 or 8.

You remember when Haldky joined us. We had about 8 games where clubs where nearly all our opposition's shots on target were going in. Walton was literally bought because Hladky's save % was absolutely abysmal.
He's clearly gained confidence and we're seeing a much better keeper. Walton wasn't at fault today and had 18 months of being absolutely brilliant for us.
Hladky with his feet has been great for us and our style. Wouldn't drop him. But this talk of Hladky being a better keeper in terms of keeping the ball out of the net I'm not buying. | |

Plenty of sides in League 1 press high, plenty of sides in the Championship sit off. There's not really any evidence to suggest Walton couldn't do well for us if he became number 1 again. At the moment, though, Hladky deserves to keep the shirt. | |

I feel he made the 2nd goal to easy to score.
Had he stayed back the striker wouldn't have had to rush his shot and edmundson may have got there.. but also it narrows the target.
By coming out when he did It was to late and it just opened up the goal for a nice quick shot. |  |

I think the big problem is rustiness. Plus he is playing with our second choice defence - he didn't have Woolfenden offering an outlet, not Clarke/Davis until midway through the second half.
