Single seats are sold to expecting pregnant mothers only, so there’s a child sitting there too. Def info confirmed by the club on Twitter.

Many years ago when you could pay at the turnstile, I once got into the family section with my dad when I was in my 30s and he was in his 60s.

They questioned us, but when I said he was my dad, they let us in.

Of course, there wasn't quite the demand then as there is now, and the family section was fairly empty.

I sat in the family area a few times when my lad was a nipper. It was probably the least 'family' experience I've had at FPR. The language that dads and kids were using was fruitier and more persistent than in any other part of the ground I've been in.

I remember when they tried, as an experiment, allowing away families in the family enclosure.

It wasn’t a success possible because they chose to do it when we played Millwall.

The family area in blocks K & L is a bit of a joke really.

went with my family (3 kids) and there was barely any "kids" there. When I asked the club why there was lots of adult groups there, apparently some people have kept their season tickets there from before it was made a family area and haven't been moved. Which I get, but then it isn't much of a family area?

Not sure what the other family areas are like.

I had hoped that sitting in the family section would keep my foul-mouthed dad in check. But I was wrong.

I also remember a game against Charlton when the stewards had to speak several times to a Charlton dad about his aggressive behaviour and foul language. He calmed down a bit when they threatened to eject him and his boy.

We went there with my grandchildren. Nightmare.

Surrounded by kids screaming "Blue Army". Constantly.

We won 4-0 but the highlight was when one lad who was sat just behind me screamed out "Blue Arhhhh...... and apparently damaged their vocal cords.

I could not help but smile.
Wont go there again.
Not ever.
