Line up for Millwall 10:21 - Feb 12 with 6170 views | IPSWICHFANITFC | I've been trying to wrap my head around whether I'd largely stick or twist with changes for Wednesday. It's going to be a better Millwall team on paper than the side we faced last time, but their form isn't great. I do feel Hutchinson should start though - whether that's central or off the right I'm not sure. Hladky Clarke Woolf Edmundson Davis Morsy Luongo Burns Hutchinson Broadhead Moore Probably what I'm leaning towards.

I disagree but I do understand the point on why there is talk of this. For me, out of last 7 that were conceded, 2 of them were when Walton did play. The goals at Preston I'm not really sure Hladky could have done anything on the first two and the third goal I can't quite remember. The two on Saturday I felt he should do a lot better on the second goal, but it's not about what he saves and doesn't save. He is on a different level to Walton with his feet and ability to clip a ball with quality into the chest, knee or foot of Moore which can beat a high press. It's this element of our game which I feel is very underappreciated.

Line up for Millwall on 12:00 - Feb 12 by HighgateBlue | Hutchinson for Burns, for me. Hutch has done enough to earn a start, and with the greatest of respect to Burns and his family, it is arguable that he has not lived up to his own very high standards of late. (is that allowed?) |
Careful… you’ll be called the new frimmers

Line up for Millwall on 10:52 - Feb 12 by BlueDouglas | How about mixing it up a bit and bringing in Travis and Al-Hamadi: Hladky Willams Woolf Burgess Davis Travis Morsey Broady Burns Al-Hamadi Moore If this is the starting line up i'll eat my hat but might be interesting to see Al-Hamadi and Moore starting together, also like Travis defensively |
This would be my preferred lineup too. So it's probably a bad call

I wouldn't start broadhead away from home dosent defend well enough, Harness or Hutchinson, And we need a right back he's average going forward woeful defending always out of position, Il give he's carrying an injury which has stopped his development,

Line up for Millwall on 11:08 - Feb 12 by IPSWICHFANITFC | I don't think BW is back with the club yet. It might be he's back this week, but I doubt he will be involved Wednesday. Saturday is a possibility though. |
BW has been back at the club nearly 2 weeks now

Line up for Millwall on 10:26 - Feb 12 by Steve_M | I suppose Axel might start, maybe at RB to not overwork Clarke's achiles and perhaps Travis for Luongo who McK was reluctant to play twice a week earlier in the season. Hutchinson to start ahead of Burns I reckon. |
It will be interesting to see how KM uses the squad from now on. We have Clarke managing his achilles, one or two others who haven't been in great form recently plus some who have performed well from the bench. Add to that Tuanzebe and Travis who have the quality to benefit the team plus Al- Hamadi who is being integrated into the squad and its systems. All of the last three probably need a run of games in the side to reach their potential performance levels, particularly Tuanzebe. However to get that run they need a breakthrough performance to keep their place as a starter and to displace the current players in those positions. Of course there is also Burgess to consider.

I sort of agree and am nervous about wholesale changes - it rarely ends well - but I also think we need to protect Clarke, Broadhead and Luongo - play the long game. On a more positive note, I would agree that we should bring Burgess in, if only because his pass to Davis swings away from the touchline and frequently works for us. Hladky Tuanzebe - Woolf - Burgess - Davis Travis - Morsy Burns - Chaplin - Sarmiento Moore Bench Walton - Clarke - Humphries - Luongo - Jackson - Hutchinson - Broadhead - Al Hamadi - Harness (is that too many? No George because we don't put CBs on the bench if they don't play FB)

Line up for Millwall on 10:25 - Feb 12 by SomethingBlue | Same team if everyone is fit, with an argument as you say for fitting Hutchinson in there – perhaps on the right would be good as would give Joe Bryan, who gets forward well, something to think about. |
Travis to start ahead of Luongo (I think he needs a rest); Hutchinson to start ahead of Burns, who hasn't seemed to be in his best form. Hutchinson needs to plat wide as his strength is running at players.
