Was thinking about watching Maidstone tonight.... 19:10 - Feb 26 with 3316 viewsBanksterDebtSlave

....but not sure I can handle being reminded that we are a global embarrassment. Is anybody else feeling brave?

A global embarrassment? Lol

Think that’s a bit over the top :)

Personally haven’t given the FA CUP a thought since about 2 days after we lost

I think it was sarcasm.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

How will we ever live with the ignominy? I’d actually forgot it happened til you mentioned it.

I think one amongst us referred to our loss as such at the time.

Am I the only one who really doesn't mind, is pleased for Maidstone and hopes Leeds, Leicester and Southampton suffer morale sapping thrashings, or heartbreak on penalties (or win and suffer the above in the quarter or semi finals). It were a freak, and we're so good it don't matter.

Mind you, I'm not gonna watch in case they go on about it!

Personally I don't begrudge them the victory, we can't have done any more to win that game, they just got lucky, let's be honest

It was a fairytale for them

They have probably played better tonight and are 3 - 0 down!

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

Cup dream over. I guess it was just us who couldn't deal with a non league side in the cup then.

Reminds me of when Colchester famously beat Leeds and then got honked 5-0 by Everton.

You need almost everything to go your way to cause an upset and you very rarely get that 2 rounds in a row.
