I take it Broadhead is one feeling slightly under the weather.

I had a feeling Jackson would start. Of the 3 forward positions the right seems to be Omari’s least effective.

I'm quite surprised by that.

Tuenzebe two games inside 3 days. Same with luongo.

Thought we might see clarke and Taylor

But hutch and Chaplin rotating works and Jackson gives us an out ball.

a niche perspective

Walker-Peters only making the bench is good news I guess.

Considering the standard of player at their disposal, Southampton should be much nearer to the top than they are. If they're firing on all cylinders today will be very tough.

A win isn't a guarantee of anything and losing isn't a disaster either.

Hoping that there aren't any wild over reactions to the result today...

I’d take the other side. Massive overreactions incoming. Especially if we don’t win.

Hutch down the left? Could be interesting and free up space for David to pass to Chappers on the edge. I think we’ll score 5 today lol.

I wonder if Hutch on the left is deliberate rather than enforced, as I'm sure he played there last time we played Southampton. Didn't he run in from the left to win the tackle that led to his goal?

Could be Jackson left tho. Altho they've benched the player he'd have helped mark so maybe now he'll go right instead.

We have a good option of being able to switch flanks with this pairing too. That might be helpful if Hutchinson has no luck on the side he starts.

Whatever else, I can't see Kayden going down the left. Every positive contribution he's made this season has been off that right flank.

Anyway, I don't give a rats if he plays in goal today...COYB!

We miss Burns stretching the full back on the right, and Broadhead doesn;t really protect Davies much. I see the logic.
