Felt a bit rubbish this morning. Watched the sky coverage for the second time. Postage stamp front garden mowed pm, two cars cleaned and frozen Yorkshire puddings bought for the roast beef dinner. Snooze, snooker, another doze filled in the rest of the time. I am old.
Need to watch the TownTV version tomorrow. Seeing it live plus three further viewings from two different sources should be enough to prove it actually happened.

Been a mess all day after getting home at 4am with a cold kebab. Day consisted of 3 naps and a second wind to go down Isaac’s at 8pm, good to see the players were still battered, McKenna was still going with them too.
I can barely move, my body is in bits, the back of my legs are black and blue from the chair bruises that Bloots also mentions. I had to scrub my hair and scalp 4 times earlier and still have blue from the smoke bombs in.

I'm off to the USA for a 3 week road trip around California in two weeks, so nice not to have to worry about the play offs, I'll be in Yosemite NP during the FA Cup final and Championship play off final so won't be watching either, basking in the knowledge that we are Premier League. I've just arrived at work after swapping my day shifts on Sat/Sun. It feels like when you return from a holiday, the best holiday you've ever had, maybe with a romance thrown in, and then the come down. Luckily, we have TWTD and youtube! It's felt like this 'holiday' began Tuesday night when Burgess scored. Since then the area has been in a bubble of hope/expectation/excited anxiety! Then, the weekend, and oh my what a weekend. I missed the parade due to this bloody work thing, but it looked great. I'll be on this high until the fixtures come out, then we go into game mode. It's been one of the most magnificent weeks of my life, thankyou ITFC and all concerned, and thankyou fans, we are one unit again! [Post edited 6 May 2024 22:34]
