Well I think McKenna has gone. A lot of back pages saying that tomorrow. I think Brighton have been in contact with us for a while about him to be honest. After Leifs interview saying he hopes McKenna stays. We have to respect the fact he didn’t leave for Palace mid season, he got the job done.

I think you’re right. Survival has to be the main objective. I was looking forward to swashbuckling Town performances next season with McK but now will take someone who can keep us in it without breaking the bank.

The problem being that to change style we really would need to make severe changes to the squad. It's been designed and trained to play like we have been doing.

We most likely lose 18 assists from left back. And we know we need a good 7/8 players coming in and that's just the start.

The style matters though as does the manager because if it changes and we don't stay up anyway then we are screwed in the Championship. Changing style doesn't guarantee staying up.
If it happens it needs to be long term thinking rather than a clutch attempt to stay in the PL. If that means we get relegated but are consistent in approach for the next season then that is important.
Just think it needs to be a more sensible approach than "stay up at all costs".
