Who do you think is going to make the biggest impression in the Premier League next season?
Obviously we've got an idea of who we think was ready to step up whether we were prompted already (Leif and maybe a couple more), but who can you see surprising us?
Personally I think Burns is going to be huge for us. I remember people saying he would be slowly phased out following promotion to the Championship which looking back seems crazy. Two assists and a goal in the last three games of the season after a two month injury, he was so important for that run in. |  |

Definitely Woolfy. Has all the class required. Needs to concentrate better, be super fit, and ideally play in a back three / five. [Post edited 30 May 2024 15:44]

I think Burns and Hirst for me, both have the physicality and game nous to do well there and probably not expected to do so |
Agree. While we talk a lot about the amazing technical ability of the premier league this is most noticeable when you look at the top few clubs. Physicality is huge and players like Burns and Hirst will be important, and we'll probably need a couple more in a similar style. | |

Broadhead.
Premier league teams rely alot more on flair and moments of magic from the "Big Players". Technically Broadhead is one of the best at the club and with another pre season under mckenna is only going to get better.

We signed him to play in the Championship and he never looked out of place while carrying an injury. I would be amazed if we loaned him to League 1. I would expect a Championship loan or for him to be a squad player for us. |  |

Did I watch the same player? His first touch at times was so poor.
Hats off to him though for having the vision to be in the right place at the right time to poke home a few from 5 yards out. | |

Woolfy has the right attributes to cope with the PL, as does Burgess and Davis.
Taylor and Morsy will be absolutely fine.
Hirst and Burns will do us proud, but for me, I think the PL is made for Broadhead. I think he will be our player of the season. |  |

I think watching some of the prem season more this season, I'd agree Burns may be a bright part of our first season. Imo something he has lacked at times has been the ability to take on a man who'd facing him. But... he's got that speed and directness that many other successful wingers have in the prem and as long as we give him the right parter in the 10 role and at RB there's no reason why he can't have a great season.
In hirst I think he's got the ability to be a real danger. Again he needs the talent around him too.
I think clarke is going to be key. As well as tuenzebe if he extends his stay. |  |
