Do we think we will be after Ben Sheaf ? 09:58 - Jun 2 with 7562 viewsMK1

I would love to see him in our midfield next season.

The only trouble I foresee with Sheaf is the amount of paper-work required to transfer him from Coventry. Still, at least he doesn't play for Reims, I suppose.

I think he probably could do a satisfactory Job in the Prem. But you midfield has to be better than that. Look at the midfield Luton put out last season. It had Ross Barkley and Sambi Lokonga in it and still got relegated. We need 2 quality centre midfielders this summer. Especially with Morsy vs VAR.

If Morsy and Luongo feature less next season. Which I think will be the case with Mass. It will be because we have upgraded that area of the pitch.

Downes, Hamer, Sheaf, Lokonga. The sort of players we should be looking at imo.

I agree. If we weren't signing anyone than Taylor would have. A good shout but we will be significantly strengthening that area.

Huge different to Taylor coming on and making a difference (which I completely agree with) and Taylor starting and having a big impact. Largely didn't happen for him from the start. I actually think he was trying to force it at times to make an impact which is completely understandable.

I think Taylor will remain and will likely to continue to be an option off the bench and in cups.

Well played sir. Would be even worse if he was part of a choir.

Better to stay silent and be thought a fool than open your mouth and remove all doubt

Id keep Taylor. Still good enough to be part of a match day squad, gives good energy. Just can't see him now being a starting midfield without really threatening that all season. We will need better.

Travis I dont get. Did his job when needed but is just nowhere near good enough to be a premier league midfielder.

Agreed. I don't get this Travis love. Though some people were going well over the top after his first game.

He did an OK job when we needed him too, but from what we saw, he doesn't look like someone who is going to step up and be a premier league player (sorry!)
