TownTV and Sky 10:51 - Jun 5 with 7532 views | GavTWTD | Am I right in assuming that nothing has changed in regard to still needing TownTV and an international pass for the coming season? The majority of our matches will still be at 3pm on a Saturday won't they? Or maybe 50-70%? Asking for a friend who lives in Milan.

TownTV and Sky on 10:56 - Jun 5 with 4906 views | earlsgreenblue | How about asking for a friend in Portugal! Exactly the same thing I’ve asked a few People for an answer too, but not got one. As Sky televise everything does the club still have the ability to stream its own live coverage? Live broadcast or not, or just the studio footage, maybe Sky cameras do it even if not a live broadcast & sell the stream to Town TV?
TownTV and Sky on 10:57 - Jun 5 with 4908 views | gringoblue | TownTV will not be able to stream any live premier league games. I've got a pal who works on ForestTV and he confirmed broadcasters all over the world have the rights.

True, but Sky won't be screening all our games? Or will they?

TownTV and Sky on 11:00 - Jun 5 with 4861 views | wkj | I bit the bullet and got Sky for the new season for £40 p/m on their streaming plan (Not NowTV). I hate myself for it, but with ad supported NetFlix thrown in I don't think im getting terrible value

It doesn't matter whether Sky are showing them or not. All games will be broadcast somewhere. My Forest TV pal says they live stream EFL games (Carabao Cup in this case), youth team games and pre-season matches. Everything else is rights blocked. They do full match replays of premier league games but he thinks the blackout is 48 hours.
TownTV and Sky on 11:05 - Jun 5 with 4817 views | bluesbrothers | Not possible any more. You need to "know a guy who knows a guy" that can get hold of IPTV for you. I happen to know a guy, and whilst I'd never use it myself (......), I'm sure he wouldn't mind a friendly chat [Post edited 5 Jun 11:06]

Guess if they're broadcast somewhere there will be a way to watch them, similar to VPN airways with Town TV.

No, I've decided I can't compromise my network by installing IPTV. Really don't trust it at all, and it's not legal (somewhere along the line). It's just not worth it for me as I have you guys to look after. Not all heroes wear capes. Hmm. So I'll see fewer matches this season then? That's rubbish. Bring back the EFL.

Realistically you're committing no more of a crime than you were last season, or than you would be if you search for a stream on matchday. Surprised the clubs don't have access to a stream (that they could provide to press) [Post edited 5 Jun 11:20]

I'm sure I remember someone on here mentioning that some American TV station broadcasts all EPL games. I'm not sure if they have a streaming platform, if so perhaps VPN + signing up to this broadcaster is an option.... ...of course that totally depends on if my wonky old brain hasn't just made up what I was just waffling on about!

Pretty much all the games will be available to view online if you know where to look. Not sure it's entirely legal to do so but they're there. Based on last season the SKY & TNT coverage broadly followed the shape of the league table. City, Liverpool, Arsenal all on 25-30 times, bottom 6 more like 10-15.

I'll be swapping my town tv subscription for the local service over here which is about the same price - I suppose the bonus being I get all prem games, not that I'll watch (m)any of the others. You might be able to get a sub to a legal service overseas and regularly travel there for short, say 2hr, periods.

TownTV and Sky on 11:47 - Jun 5 with 4331 views | thepommylump | In Australia, Optus Sport say they show every premiere league game live, plus other stuff for $199AUD per year, which is about $140 cheaper than Town TV.
TownTV and Sky on 11:49 - Jun 5 with 4313 views | JakeITFC | Use your VPN to buy a Prem subscription somewhere abroad that’s cheap/has English language (a few years ago it was something like CAD99 for the whole season on DAZN in Canada for example) and then watch that. You’ll be able to watch every game regardless of UK coverage and it’ll probably be cheaper than Town TV. Edit: just had a cursory look and it’s about £20 a month for Singapore and New Zealand’s services, or £160 for a full year of the Canadian (but paid upfront). [Post edited 5 Jun 11:54]

I found that it was much more difficult to sign up for these services as they do added checks but I'll certainly look out for it just prior to the new season. I'm not using dodgy streaming sites (a reply to other posts), I'd like HD and prepared to pay for it. I'd prefer to use TownTV but it's not looking likely. I've emailed them and I'll report back.

Going to check this out with family over there as I'd be quite interested. Would rather watch in english than Dutch.

Anyone know if you can sign up via VPN, or as Gav has mentioned do you need proof of residence? eg. a US address and a US bank/credit card.

Not the answer you're looking for but this is what always derails my attempts. Haven't tried a Canadian one, but both US and Aussie platforms both required addresses/ native mobile phone nos.
