What’s evident is how spoiled we’ve been with McKenna-ball:-
-England aren’t very brave playing out from the back. All too often they ‘bottle it’, lump it forward and lose possession.
-so little movement off the ball. Very little pass and and move which means they’ve barely penetrated the Serbian back line.
Kane, Bellingham, Saka, and Foden is fecking fantasy football, they are being stifled with slow moving, safety first football. |  | | |

Agreed was starring to think I was watching another game. Sara is tearing them apart, Bellingham is bossing things, there has been a drop off towards the end of the half but I'd take that 1st half all day long although the cushion of a 2nd goal early in the 2nd would be fantastic.
There is clearly an imbalance for us on the left especially going forwards but Serbia haven't troubled us too much down that side. |  | | |

Yup, I very much doubt the big boys of the tournament are watching this, and quaking in their boots!
This is why I had zero enthusiasm for the tournament. It’s been a long time since we’ve put anyone to the sword in a tournament. An embarrassment of attacking riches who are barely seeing the ball after Pickford lumps it repeatedly into the Serbian midfield.
