Peacock don’t show every game, so it’s pot luck if Town is covered for a particular week. The other games will be shown on NBC, but you have to have a network TV provider for that, which typically means a US cable provider. FuboTV Canada cover every EPL game.

Here in Thailand I use True tv. I pretty much get every conceivable program that is available to watch, including F1 and all premiership matches that are being screened. Unfortunately it is very expensive, about USD70 per month.

I tried to do their $20 deal but couldn't get the payment to work - would have been an absolute steal.

I live in Thailand too. True is excellent, with some good pundits at times too. Normally watch that when in bars. For my condo I have a couple of IPTV systems, though they don't have True. What's your cost for True monthly to get the Prem/Sports?

I use the best package that True provide, the only reason for this is because I really like F1 and it’s the only package that includes Netflix, F1 and premiership football and of course Internet. It’s 2500B per month which is expensive . Generally coverage is good but the system does sometimes require re-booting. Where are you in Thailand, I’m in Bangkok

Thanks for that. I’ll check True out. I’m in Jomtien, just outside Pattaya. Bangkok is fantastic, love the place.

I tried that, a friend bought one back from New York. I paid very little to program it, something like USD60 per month, but it was useless. I’m now told they don’t really work here in Thailand for some reason.

They work fine. I have 3 working great and have recently got Peacock as a further back up. All this before we know exactly what the situation is with TownTV. The club must surely know by now how TownTV can/will operate this coming season. Unfortunately I see this as another item the club have been really poor in communicating to us fans. While I bleed blue and white and the owners/board have done wonders over the last couple of years, I do feel the club are somewhat letting themselves down on the comms to fans front in recent weeks.

For sure, they wouldn’t have spent big bucks on setting that up without planning how to utilise it, even with our unexpected promotion. I would think, like last season, that even though Sky were showing games, TownTV showed the same games for us who are “overseas”. I haven’t investigated but don’t Liverpool, Man U and Chelsea, among others, who have their own TV channel, still show games live even though they’re broadcast live by Sky, BT, Amazon Prime, for “qualified” fans? I don’t know, but it’s certainly about time the club made an announcement.

Depends which team you’re watching. You obviously don’t watch Ipswich if you have that opinion. Name 3 English teams that have been more exciting to watch than Ipswich over the last 2 seasons . . 🤔
