for me its a goal and no sanction, but there's no discretion left in football so it should have been the letter of the law - but that's only applied when it suits. |  |

Although the goal was typical of so called modern foitball. Belgium spend the entire game tapping the ball around the pitch, often started with the GK passing it short to a player, playing it out from the back. But still only winning 1-0, answer, revert to hoof football, and back of the net they score. | | | |

Watched this game, Doku was good but the Romanian no. 2 was good too. Hope JD is fit and with us ,will he get a squad number or just staying on to get fit? Frightening how many new players we need and the risk of bringing in big egos who mess up the team approach.
VAR, if Romania had seen the handball and protested, it would've been reviewed
VAR, red card for De Bruyne, but again no protest from Romania.
