Disappointed with that, and I suspect that Vas will be too, I don't think that has played out the way that he expected.

Wouldn't be surprised if Nodge have a sniff, given the state of their keeper.

Think they're stuck with Gunn for another year. No one will buy him and he must be on about 30k a week.

Would be quite funny though

He might've put himself in the shop window at the Euros though.

Unfortunately that shop is Poundland.

If he was nailed on the man KM wanted as number one next season that deal would of been done. My guess is he wanted first team football assurances with wage inflation over 3 years, and for a back up that makes no sense and would harm morale.

When Walton and slicker are here 30k a week or so on vaz would make zero sense, and as silly as that sounds 30k is a modest pl wage.

Can't hide from the fact that we need about 9 players, the money still has to be spent well. I expect our 2 new signings have not been contractually cheap

Really sad at this news. Such an integral part of a fantastic season - he surprised us all when he came in and was consistently brilliant with his feet and key to the way we played. Sad that after that he just gone into thin air.

Happy that the club are not being held to ransom by agents, but can;t help think that the best time of his career is likely to be behind him rather than ahead.

It is sad because he was a very important part of the best season we've had in a generation, but ultimately he's not good enough to be our number one in the Premier League - presumably the terms he would have wanted had to have been with that in mind (big wage increase, contract length, playing time assurances etc.) and so whilst it is fairly ruthless, I think it is the right decision.

Rushworth or Kaminski and Walton is a very good goalkeeping core for me and becomes an upgrade on what we had.

Not sure on Kaminski myself, but think Rushworth would be a decent long term option with Walton as number 2.

Wouldn't surprise me if we signed an experienced number 3 as well, someone like Begovic (not him) to come in for a year whilst Slicker gets some games.

Poll: We’ve got super KM, he knows exactly what we need. Woolfie at the back…

Isn’t Bart available?

I'm really, really gutted about this - just a player I loved watching for us last season and I know he probably would have dropped down to being a number 2 next season but feels like a really unsatisfactory end to his time here.

I hope he goes on to succeed elsewhere and gets a great deal off the back of last season but I'm absolutely gutted he's going and really not looking forward to telling my Son he has gone later today when he's home from school

I wholeheartedly agree Joe. Taken the shine of things a bit.
